NEW - I need to upload a photo to insert it in one of my articles, how do I add images to my articles?
In the article editor you can now upload photos and insert them into articles. First, upload your image using the "Multimedia" Photographs tool, by clicking on the "Upload Your Own" tab and finding a photo on your computer. Now, when you are in the article editor and click on the small graphic icon, you'll see it listed, simply click on it to place it in your article.

What can I do when objects or images are missing on my pnn.com page?
During the editing process there can sometimes be issues with your web browser. Errors or missing objects can become a problem. Here is a quick way to work around an issue your browser might be having with a PNN page. Hold down the keyboard shift-key and with your mouse click on your browsers reload button (some browsers label it the refresh button). After the page has been reloaded, the problem should be corrected. If not, try upgrading your browser to one like Mozilla Firefox.

How do I change the masthead on my blog to a image of my own?
In the "Page Design" tool you'll find the title editor. Select the "Upload Your Own" option and browse your computer for the file you want. You will need to have an image editing program to add your title and crop your image to the appropriate size.

I clicked on "edit" to make changes to my web page and a blank window pops-up with the progress wheel running? What should I do now?
Best thing to do is click the red close button and try it again. If this does not work after several tries exit the browser and return, PNN keeps you logged in till you click on the logout button. In many cases this problem is caused by an older version of Internet Explorer, upgrading your browser will fix many issues with pnn.com tools.

What are the top menu bar tools for?
The pnn.com menu bar helps you and your readers stay connected. It lets you access the home page, displays your avatar, byline and present status. The icon to share this broadcast via email is useful, a subscribe to your broadcast button, a contact button, a star icon for readers to "Star You", search options, the help icon and the flagging icon.

Can I send video from my cell phone to my pnn.com blog?
You can send pictures but not video. We are unable to accept cell phone video format, at this time. However, if you have a YouTube account you can send your video there and then use our Youtube widget to place it on your blog.

What's the best way to get started blogging at pnn.com?
Here's a good way to start your pnn.com blog. Write your story in MS Word, or a similar text editor. Don't concern yourself with color or font styles. The web only allows a select group of fonts, so for starters do your titles in Georgia and the body copy in Arial. You can bold, resize and place bullets in your article, but for the most part just focus on getting your article complete.
In MS Word, under ‘Edit' in the top menu bar you'll find the option "select all". After doing this the ‘copy' option is available, select copy and you're ready to paste it into your blog. Go to your pnn.com account and open the ‘Add Text' editor tool. Click on the "Paste from word" tool and use the Control-V key (Command-V on the MAC) to paste the text, then click on the "Insert" button. Your text is now copied to the pnn.com text tool window.
Because the text tool window is a different size than the column on your blog, it would be a good idea to ‘Save' now and look at the article on your page. This would be a good time to do some font styling and adding images. If you have an image ready to insert into your article, do it now. When you have placed your image, select it and click on the alignment tool. There are options for left, right and center.
